Synopsis:
Peter Hatcher, a fourth grader who has just won a pet turtle named Dribble at a birthday party. He takes the turtle home and keeps it in his bedroom. He tells his little brother Fudge to not touch it. Peter takes a lot of care for Dribble. The next day, his father calls Mr and Mrs Juicy-O to stay in their house. And for Fudge to not annoy them, all Fudge needs is pair of socks!!! But, even that wasn't enough to impress the Juicy-Os. After that, Fudge acts like different animals and loses two teeth in the process. He gets really naughty and eats flowers and does many more things which annoy evryone. Peter doesn't even want to look at Fudge now. At Peter's school, there is a project to do and Peter's group fight a lot. They get it done and then Peter's mother goes away for the weekend. So Peter had to help in making Fudge do things Fudge doesn't want to. Then Fudge does something so bad it makes Peter want to kill Fudge. Then Peter gets something even better to make up for it. Why I liked the book: It was so exciting and hilarous.
